The Client

Our client is a global and growing brand in the dynamic world of online gaming looking for a creative Digital Designer to join thier expanding team.

The Role of Digital Designer

As the Digital Designer you will be reporting to the creataive lead and assist in the delivery of digital creative.

You will be integral to the delivery of the brands creative output, working directly with the Creative Lead ( and relevant external agencies ) and internal copywriters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate ideas for the brand, visualise and present to the wider team
  • Design and build animated display banner campaigns using Adobe Animate.
  • Design static website hero banners, CRM banners, web landing pages and after effect animations for social media digital banners.
  • Design creative in print work (branded merchandise, direct mailers etc).
  • Have a basic understanding of UX/UI design principals.
  • Have the ability to edit / resize MP4 video/ audio.
  • Pragmatically approach projects to ensure both creative and business needs are met.
  • Presenting of ideas internally and to management.
  • Regularly collaborate with marketing/social media department.
  • Keeping Project management team well briefed on current timings, status and potential issues.
  • Follow the company's brand guidelines.
  • Produce internal and social media promotional materials.

Skills and Experience

  • At least 3 years’ experience designing/ building/ producing digital static and animated display and social banners, web banners, CRM images within a fast-paced design studio environment.
  • Strong digital ideations skills, used to developing visual concepts mainly on your own, but osscasionally with copywriters.
  • Ability to hit the ground running, is proactive, a conceptual designer and an innovator with knowledge and experience across all digital platforms.
  • Experience using Adobe Animate for html 5 exports as well as After Effects is a pre-requisite for this role.
  • Posess a solid portfolio and show a diverse range of styles, skills and creative abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate on projects with teams as a designer but also act to ensure that creative and innovative standards are upheld, and creative boundaries pushed.
  • Your role is supported by other designers (based abroad and in London), the brand team and Creative Lead and visa versa, with you being responsible for monitoring your timings, schedules, briefs and following up tasks that are set, Quality Assurance and adhering to the marketing team’s schedule.
  • You will also need to be familiar with worklflow management systems like JIRA, as you will be required to use this software for all d2d work and to record time spent on briefs etc
