The Role

To deliver outstanding results across all relevant channels e.g. Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, YouTube etc.  You will report into the PPC Team Manager, with the role requiring you to work closely with clients and colleagues, helping them to set up, manage and optimise multiple campaigns.

You will be responsible for the activation, optimisation and performance analysis for your allocated accounts, helping govern overall strategy and ensuring that ROI and performance targets are reached.  You will need to deliver regular reports and actionable insights to both clients and internal stakeholders, showing campaign results, highlighting key trends and offering suggestions for continued improvement.

Competencies

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience working within a PPC position
  • Agency experience is preferable, however, we will consider candidates from client side with experience working within relevant biddable media channels
  • You will need a commercially focused, can-do attitude, mixed with a friendly and positive outlook
  • A strong passion for all forms of PPC advertising is essential, relishing the prospect of working across multiple accounts and platforms within a fast-paced agency environment

Communication

  • Manage expectations according to relevant SLAs, priorities and bandwidth
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and build effective working relationships
  • Communicate with clients and take a lead role within meetings
  • Write industry related thought pieces for the benefit of clients & the agency
  • Attend industry events & pass on learnings to the department & agency
  • Keep abreast of industry updates and communicate these across the wider team and agency

Role Management

  • Total competence across all advanced platform features
  • Extensive experience of conceiving, implementing & reviewing campaigns & strategies, which deliver performance and value for clients
  • Create proposals, including recommendations for budget weighting, targeting, creative & KPIs across multiple channels
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel & PPT

Commercial Acumen

  • Effectively implement client budgets, correctly utilising media spend throughout the month
  • Update the internal booking system to enable effective billing consolidation
  • Help identify crossell and upsell opportunities across different channels for your clients

Leadership & Initiative

  • Proactively seek opportunities to support beyond your regular duties
  • Conduct strategy audits to identify new solutions & ideas for both clients & internal stakeholders
  • Work with junior members of the team by delegating tasks appropriately to apply their time effectively, in a constructive way that will benefit & enhance the experience of junior colleagues
  • Assist the team managers in the day-to-day management of the junior members of the team
  • Share learnings with colleagues across other digital disciplines where appropriate
  • Undertake relevant platform exams & accreditations

Strategic Excellence

  • Have a good understanding of other channels, both online and offline, being utilised by the agency clients, attending training to refresh knowledge where required
  • Work with junior members of the team in helping them to identify cross-channel opportunities for their clients
  • Help Team Managers in co-ordinating and delivering cross-team training
  • Have a strong working knowledge of cross-channel attribution
  • Advanced working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Data Studio
