Our client, a leading organisation within the iGaming and online gambling industry, is looking for a Regulatory Compliance Manager to join their growing compliance team. You must be a fluent Greek speaker, preferably living in Athens and have a minimum of 1-2 years compliance experience covering igaming in Greece.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing regulatory compliance matters across one or more licensed jurisdictions. This role requires someone proactive, organised, and confident working with minimal supervision while taking ownership of assigned licences and regulatory relationships.
You will ensure the business remains compliant with applicable gambling regulations, conduct internal audits, prepare reports for regulators, manage regulatory communications, and provide practical compliance guidance to operational teams across the business.
Key Responsibilities
As the Regulatory Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading regulatory compliance efforts for assigned licensed jurisdictions, including markets such as UKGC, MGA, SGA, DGA, DGOJ, GGL, AGCO, LOTBA, Brazil, Peru, and other regulated territories
- Ensuring company policies, procedures, and systems comply with local regulatory requirements
- Managing communication with regulatory authorities, including licence applications, renewals, notifications, and complaints
- Overseeing periodic and ad-hoc reporting to regulators
- Conducting and documenting internal audits and compliance reviews
- Providing compliance guidance to internal departments, including Marketing, Payments, Product, Operations, and other business teams
- Monitoring new and updated regulations, identifying potential business impacts and required changes
- Coordinating with external advisors or consultants where necessary
- Maintaining internal documentation and evidence to support audit readiness
- Serving as the final editor and approver for high-level customer complaints and regulatory complaint submissions
- Supporting a strong culture of regulatory compliance, accuracy, and accountability across the organisation

The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a regulatory compliance role within the online gambling industry
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions
- Excellent communication skills, including strong presentation and report writing abilities
- The ability to exercise initiative, discretion, and sound judgement
- Confidence working independently and managing multiple priorities
- High attention to detail
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- A methodical, diligent, and ethical approach to compliance work
- The ability to balance regulatory requirements with the values and objectives of the organisation
Advantageous Skills
The following would be considered an advantage:
- A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field such as Law, Finance, Risk Management, or a similar discipline
- Experience dealing directly with gambling regulators
- Experience with jurisdictions such as UKGC, MGA, SGA, DGA, DGOJ, GGL, AGCO, LOTBA, Brazil, Peru, or similar regulated markets
- Experience preparing licence applications, renewals, notifications, regulatory submissions, and complaints
- Experience working with external advisors, consultants, or regulatory specialists
- Knowledge of responsible gambling, AML, marketing compliance, customer complaints, and operational controls
