Our client, a leading organisation within the iGaming and online gambling industry, is looking for a Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager to join their growing compliance function.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing regulatory compliance across one or more licensed jurisdictions. This role requires a proactive self-starter who can work independently, take ownership of assigned licences, manage regulatory relationships, and ensure the business remains compliant with applicable gambling regulations.

You will work closely with internal teams including Marketing, Payments, Product, Operations, and senior stakeholders, providing regulatory guidance, managing reporting obligations, conducting internal audits, and supporting the business with compliance reviews and regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading regulatory compliance efforts for assigned licensed jurisdictions, including markets such as the UK, Malta, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Germany, Ontario, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, and other regulated territories

  • Ensuring company policies, procedures, systems, and controls comply with local gambling regulatory requirements

  • Managing communication with regulatory authorities, including licence applications, renewals, notifications, complaints, and regulatory queries

  • Overseeing periodic and ad-hoc reporting to regulators

  • Conducting, documenting, and following up on internal audits and compliance reviews

  • Providing regulatory compliance guidance to internal departments, including Marketing, Payments, Product, Operations, and other business teams

  • Monitoring new and updated gambling regulations, identifying potential business impacts and required operational changes

  • Coordinating with external advisors, consultants, and regulatory specialists where required

  • Maintaining internal documentation, records, and evidence to ensure audit readiness

  • Acting as the final editor and approver for high-level customer complaints and regulatory complaint submissions

  • Supporting a strong culture of regulatory compliance, accountability, and responsible gambling across the business

What We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a regulatory compliance role within the online gambling or iGaming industry

  • Strong understanding of gambling regulatory frameworks across multiple licensed jurisdictions

  • Experience managing regulatory requirements, licence obligations, audits, and reporting processes

  • Excellent communication skills, including strong presentation and report writing abilities

  • The ability to exercise initiative, discretion, and sound judgement

  • Confidence working independently and managing multiple priorities

  • Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • High attention to detail and a methodical approach to compliance work

  • High ethical standards and a diligent, responsible approach

  • The ability to balance regulatory obligations with business objectives

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to advise internal departments clearly and commercially

Advantageous Skills

The following would be considered an advantage:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field such as Law, Finance, Risk Management, or a similar discipline

  • Direct experience dealing with gambling regulators

  • Experience with jurisdictions such as UKGC, MGA, SGA, DGA, DGOJ, GGL, AGCO, LOTBA, Brazil, Peru, or similar regulated markets

  • Experience preparing licence applications, renewals, notifications, and regulatory submissions

  • Experience working with external legal advisors, consultants, or compliance specialists

  • Strong knowledge of responsible gambling, AML, customer complaints, marketing compliance, and operational controls
