The Role of Paid Social Executive

They are seeking an experienced Paid Social Executive, who will play a key role in supporting the growth of the brand through performance-driven paid social campaigns. The role focuses on managing full-funnel strategies across multiple markets, with an emphasis on Meta channels in the UK and Canada. It requires a data-driven approach to campaign optimisation, creative analysis, and reporting, ensuring effective communication of insights to internal teams and senior management. This is an opportunity to develop expertise in a fast-paced, competitive industry while contributing to impactful digital marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have experience with Meta advertising platforms, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the iGaming industry is a plus but not essential.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating campaigns across paid social channels such as Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat, while managing creative publishing, targeting, and budget allocation.
  • Coordinate with digital marketing and marcomms/creative teams to produce creative assets, including visual images, video, and copywriting. (using the Click-up Platform)
  • Build a weekly report of results, which will also feed into monthly and quarterly reports using Excel and formulas for automation.
  • Measure campaigns in line with CPA and CLV targets. This includes bottom-of-funnel customer acquisition campaigns and higher-funnel campaigns, which are evaluated on softer metrics.
  • Liaise with the data side of the marketing team to ensure optimal tracking setup. Implement tracking links and landing pages to ensure all published ads are fully functional. 
  • Absorb overseas market nuances and understand how different cultures and audience behaviours feed into marketing strategies across LATAM markets and new markets that will be in housing.
  • Review competitor paid social ads for inspiration and insights related to your work and present quarterly insights to relevant stakeholders.
  • Be willing to test out new ideas in ads – creative or practical!
  • Contribute to meetings on assets and results you manage directly.

Key Skills 

A candidate who is open to learning more on paid social, develop their current skill set in preparation for a mid-level role.

  • Experience in a similar B2C role is essential.
  • 2+ years of experience managing paid social campaigns, with a strong understanding of running paid media activity, the importance of user journey optimisation, and landing pages. Proficient in key performance metrics and overall campaign measurement.
  • Ability to plan, build and execute a paid media campaign with guidance on hand if needed.
  • Understanding digital tracking, measurement and reporting tools.
  • Good understanding of marketing platforms (Meta/X/Twitter/TikTok/Snapchat)
  • Experienced in briefing creative teams to produce effective paid social ads across all common social media formats
  • iGaming experience is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of iGaming products, including the role of operators in relation to target audiences, as well as legal compliance and promotional T&Cs in marketing materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and presentations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset, able to interpret data logically and present insights effectively.
  • Team player, capable of building strong relationships with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Proactive, confident, and eager to take initiative, with a bold approach to testing new strategies.
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
