Our Client

Our highly successful online gaming client is looking to hire a Digital Marketing Executive to manage the growth of their brand in the UK.

The Role

The Digital Marketing Executive will be required to assist on the development of all digital activity in the UK market, as well as, support the overall marketing (ATL+Digital) strategy for the brand. This role is performance oriented requiring strong campaign management and creative skills, as well as, good communication skills.

This is a unique opportunity for a highly talented, self-motivated, marketer to progress himself on the field of end to end planning and execution of digital campaigns as the team and product proposition continue to grow and develop.

The successful candidate will report into the Digital Marketing Lead and have experience in liaising with external performance agencies. They will need experience working with internal teams, with hands on management of the creative process. They will need to be data driven, with the ability to evaluate campaigns and creative.

So ideally, you’ll have proven experience growing challenger brands in highly competitive industries, as well the commercial expertise to deliver exceptional digital campaigns that increase brand awareness and consideration but more importantly deliver immediate commercial results in terms of player acquisition and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support digital data flow between our client and external partners, an understanding of tracking/pixels/cookies and the ability to brief development teams is an advantage!
  • Manage the end-to-end campaign desktop and mobile creative process including briefing marcomms and creative teams approving creative and ensuring creative is tagged/tracked and supplied to external agency partners and data is uploaded to third party platforms i.e. Facebook. Recommending all campaign testing and optimisations, including all post campaign reporting
  • Manage UK bespoke CRM funnel, including planning, coordinating, and executing monthly retention campaigns across different user segments. Working on further improvements across bespoke CRM processes
  • Liaise with internal teams and 3rd party agencies relating to the briefing, executing and reporting back on the performance of any new or existing digital campaigns
  • Liaise with the internal teams and external agencies to ensure we deliver the BAU acquisition and retention schedules on time/budget and to strategy
  • Liaise with the internal stakeholders and external teams to review, test and ensure user journey across the UK digital campaigns (desktop and mobile) are fully functional, reporting and fixing any issues (like broken tracking links/tags etc)
  • Manage and handle any creative or strategic changes mid-campaign (i.e, change to the audience/offer or game etc.)
  • Ensure all terms and conditions, promotional information, copy, designs are created and delivered
  • Ensure all post-promotion actions are fulfilled, crediting players accounts, prize fulfilment, liaising with VIP and CRM teams as required
  • Constantly reviewing and improving the copy, refreshing creative and thinking about new ideas to communicate to our customers
  • Perform relevant research to understand the industry, our customers and competitors. Also make recommendations following this research to enhance our product offering to improve the financial performance of the business and market share

The ideal Candidate

A candidate with good knowledge of the digital media landscape.

Gambling experience is preferable but not mandatory if you have experience working for high volume transaction digital/ e-commerce business in a similar industry.

  • 2+ years Digital Campaign Management experience
  • Strong knowledge of the digital media space (desktop and mobile – especially in app campaigns) including managing relationships with external digital agencies. The ideal candidate would have worked in multi discipline marketing structure where digital channels are used to leverage and benefit from ATL campaigns to both acquire new and retain existing customers
  • Thorough understanding of all digital channels (including mobile/in app) and their potential impact as an acquisition and retention tool
  • Ability to manage campaigns from beginning to end, including creative development, delivery of assets and post campaign performance analysis
  • Understanding of digital tracking, measurement and reporting tools (ideally AppsFlyer)
  • Understanding of usability and design principles to feed into testing of creative and landing pages
  • End to end understanding and track record of setting up campaigns across paid search, social and programmatic channels
  • Good knowledge required of Microsoft Excel, Google Ads, Facebook, Apple and Appsflyer platforms is an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills. Solid attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
  • Teamworking skills – the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
  • Experience working with internal and external agencies
  • Confident, with strong initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Good organisational skills and experience of balancing multiple projects
