Our Client

Our Client has established itself as a key player in generating socially responsible, impactful philanthropy.

The organisation is a UK charity supporting under-the-radar causes abroad. They focus on how to make giving meaningful, both to the donor and the recipient and key to their organisation is the desire to give donors choice on where to direct their donation. Our client currently supports 18 causes, each supporting a vulnerable population group to improve their lives and help them break negative cycles.

This is an exciting time of growth and change for the charity and the successful candidate will have the opportunity help shape the next chapter in their story.

The Role

You will be a key player within their small team, developing and executing our fundraising strategy, taking full responsibility for cultivating and nurturing relationships with existing major donors and identifying and developing relationships with potential new donors


  • To focus on the current supporters and their donor journey and help to secure bigger gifts from current donors as well as building new relationships
  • Foster and build connections with charitable trusts
  • Support the CEO, marketing and Israel-based fundraising team in their major donor relationships, and also have the opportunity to be involved in our other funding streams, including legacy and our annual and fundraising campaigns
  • You may be required to help recruit new committee members, lay supporters, and trustees where necessary

Skills and Experience

  • You will have proven experience and a strong track record of personally securing major donors, networking and face to face fundraising for high level funds
  • Exceptionally strong and persuasive written and verbal communications skills
  • An understanding and knowledge of ethnic communities
  • You may be required to help recruit new committee members, lay supporters, and trustees where necessary
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) is expected
