Our Client

Our highly successful global client, currently in a phase of expansion, is looking to hire an experienced Marketing Executive to join the Brand and Communications team to help build and deliver the global marketing strategy. This is a unique opportunity for a talented, self-motivated individual looking to gain more experience in TTL campaign marketing.

The Role

The successful candidate will report into the Marcomms lead, work directly with internal stakeholders and be responsible for delivering the creative for digital and ATL campaigns and CRM communications. They will need experience of working with multiple stakeholders (including creatives) in a fast-paced environment and hands-on experience of managing the end to end creative process, primarily on digital marketing but also potentially on ATL campaigns.

Key responsibilities for the Marketing Communications Executive:

Develop and deliver creative

  • Support the Marcomms lead to deliver the creative for all global digital products, brand, acquisition & retention campaigns across website, mobile/desktop programmatic, paid and organic social and ATL channels
  • Initiate and manage the creative brief and process for all markets - including briefing copywriters, designers, approving concepts, gaining approval from compliance/brief owner, organizing translations and supply of final assets to brief owner
  • Take all necessary steps to ensure that all campaigns reflect the global brand look and feel as well as tone of voice, making sure there is brand and creative consistency in all output

Planning

  • Support the Marcomms lead on global marketing campaign planning, working with stakeholders in the digital, performance and product teams to plan the annual Marcomms calendar and update monthly/quarterly

Review the market

  • Lead global competitor reviews, creating monthly reviews of competitor activity, working with country leads and external agencies as appropriate. Make recommendations following this review to enhance their creative output to improve overall creative performance
  • Benchmark the offline/online activity vs competitors and work with the creative team to create quarterly brand and competitor reviews.

CRM

  • Plan, manage and execute the CRM network promotions for key markets (existing & new)
  • Review network promotions from games providers and make decisions on which ones should be promoted with ads across the digital platform
  • Develop creative for network promotions and manage the approval process
  • Review campaigns performance via PCAs
  • Assist with weekly CRM promotions and Direct Mail when required

The Marketing Communications Executive's skill set and experience

  • 2+ years in a Digital Marketing role – working either agency or client-side
  • Ideally you will have worked in a multidiscipline marketing structure where digital channels are used to leverage and benefit from ATL campaigns
  • Experience in developing and executing digital campaigns
  • Good eye for competitor and other industry marketing to ensure the client is at the leading edge of campaign marketing
  • Experience of best-in-class marketing
  • A keen interest and knowledge in gaming
  • Experience in directly working with marketing and creative agencies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills. Solid attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of current marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
  • Team player, able to work with multiple stakeholders to achieve objectives
  • Good organisational skills and experience of balancing multiple projects at once
