Our Client

Our Client is a well established private property investment company based in North London. As a business, our client acquires residential flats and houses in order to rent out to tennants as well as managing properties for a small number of other private landlord properties. They are looking for an experienced Property Administrator who will be able to run their extensive portfolio of properties which is constantly expanding.

The Role will include:

  • Arranging inventories, check outs, negotiating deductions and deposit releases
  • Supervising preparation of new tenancy & renewal packs (right to rent, how to rent, EPC, gas safety, HMO licence, etc)
  • Preparing & serving legal notices (Section 20, Section 21, rent increases, fair rent applications for sitting tenants, preparing possession order claims)
  • Carrying out rental comparables, negotiate rental & contract renewals etc
  • Liaising closely with the managing agents for the properties located outside London (authorising works, repairs, checking rental statements & contract renewals, new rentals etc)
  • Dealing with tenants’ correspondence regarding repairs, tenancy issues, utility bills, pest control
  • Attending Landlords forums
  • Dealing closely with local authorities re potential rentals or local authority tenants (tenancy issues, payment issues)Ensuring internal controls & procedures are followed in line with current safety & legal requirements
  • Ensuring EPC and gas safety checks and are up to date; instructing contractors when renewal is needed, following up recommendation from gas safety inspections and EPC inspections
  • Dealing with maintenance issues, obtaining quotes, instructing contractors, monitoring works and validating invoices

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years office experience
  • An excellent telephone manner
  • Fast and accurate typing skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Word and ExcelAn efficient and methodical mindset
  • CFP Winman software understanding is an advantage
  • Excellent multi tasking and organisational skills
