Our client is a well-established and well respected Engineering and Construction Recruitment agency, looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to kick-start their Business Support and Accountancy division.  Working alongside the Engineering Recruiters (with your own division) you will join a company who offer a unique blend of a relaxed atmosphere coupled with their hardworking culture. The Senior Recruitment Consultant will have the support and backing of the existing divisions to not only create new and existing business opportunities, but also once the desk gathers pace you will be able to expand the team around you.

As Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will be expected to win new business but you will also have the opportunity to seek out Business Support and Accountancy roles from the company’s existing Engineering and Construction clients.  As a single site business so you will have no geographical restrictions either in the UK or internationally.

The main duties of the Senior Recruitment Consultant will be;

Business Development

·       New business generation – make canvass calls, develop the database and seek PSL arrangements, carry out mail shot activities and meet new clients (pre-qualified)

·         Existing clients – development further contacts within the clients’ organisation and seek to establish the company as the main recruitment partner

·         Add new client information to the company database

·         Make a significant contribution to the financial target set by the company

·         Prepare proposals and tenders for inclusion onto clients PSL and negotiate fees with the approval of the Recruitment Manager

·         Advertise vacancies via job boards, professional networking sites and company website to ensure maximum exposure

·         Deal with speculative calls, aftercare and service calls

 

Client Management

·         Serve clients, identify and match their recruitment needs and provide quality feedback when filling vacancies

·         Act as Account Manager to designated Clients and ensuring Service Level Agreements are met

·         Qualify job specification / salary information and record accurate and comprehensive job description – check info / client requirements in line with key processes and legislation

·         Gather info on client – decision maker and no of employees

·         Network internally and externally with clients

·         Provide added value to clients – salary surveys, availability, candidate pool, industry activity

·         Develop own knowledge to become an expert in Employment & Skills sectors

 

Candidate Management

·        Be responsible for the candidate management process, including candidate registration, contractual and quality compliance, booking interviews, providing candidates with interview briefs, negotiating offers and organising

·         Ensure all CVs presented to clients are of a specific standard and reflective of the clients requests

·         Where applicable coach candidates on interview skills/skills testing

·         Provide excellent customer services and keep candidates informed on status of applications and provide constructive feedback

·         Constantly look for in-demand candidates and market them accordingly

 

Supervision

·         Mentor and assist in the development of new employees in line with the requirements of the Recruitment Manager

·         Where required to manage new starter induction programmes

·         Assist the Recruitment Manager in identifying and interviewing prospective employees
