Our Client

Our Client, a highly successful online casino & bingo brand, is looking to hire an entry-level Social Media Executive to join its expanding social media team. The successful candidate will report to the Social Media Manager and be responsible for optimising content across branding activity in the UK and Canadian markets. 

The Role

This role is a unique chance to join a team built from the ground up and best fits candidates with a proven track record of creative thinking and curiosity in the field of social media. Key responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day activity on both paid and organic activity, supporting planned campaigns in the UK and being a core part of an upcoming Canadian relaunch.

You will work closely with internal teams in multiple territories, as well as directly with platforms like Meta, to ensure best-in-class social campaigns in highly competitive markets. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to gain hands-on responsibility and progress in their career. 

You must be:

  • Performance-driven and analytical, but with a creative eye 
  • Curious by nature and passionate about self-improvement
  • Able to tell the differences between performance-focused content designed for registrations or deposits and creative content designed for community building
  • Comfortable speaking up and pitching new ideas to team members and briefing creative teams 
  • An agile and adaptable executor

You will be responsible for: 

  • Looking after Facebook/Twitter and Instagram accounts for their Canadian market 
  • Carrying out audience research 
  • Supporting their UK channels 
  • Working alongside the Social Media Manager in putting together a monthly content plan, primarily for Canada
  • Bringing social media campaigns to life through original concepts and the latest social media tools/features 
  • Working extensively with platforms to identify issues and opportunities 
  • Briefing the internal creative studio to create all required assets to support social strategy on both organic and paid campaigns 

Skills/experience required: 

  • Experience in planning and briefing campaigns and/or developing stills and video creatives for paid and organic social campaigns in the UK 
  • Strong organizational skills and experience in balancing multiple projects at once 
  • Experience in the gaming industry is beneficial but not required, as is social media or digital marketing experience in other markets like Canada/Latam and Sweden 
  • Proven interest in social media and knowledge of Facebook, Twitter & Instagram
