Our Client

Our client is a dynamic boutique law firm specialising in all aspects of commercial and residential property. Their small, close knit team moved from Central London to modern, spacious offices in East London, equipped with a kitchen, shower facilities and air conditioning.

The Role and Responsibilities of the Solicitor

You should be a commercial and residential property solicitor with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience, the majority of it being commercial property. You should have the requisite experience to work on a wide range of property matters, including:-

  • Landlord and Tenant work (including drafting and negotiating commercial leases)
  • Commercial sales and purchases
  • Development work
  • Secured lending
  • Residential sales/purchases and management

The role of solicitor is viewed as fundamental to the development of the firm and, for the right candidate who satisfies their requirements, you can expect to become involved in supervising junior members of the team, client development and other suitable management functions with a Partnership position being a very realistic prospect.

The Ideal Solicitor

  • Previous property law (primarily commercial) experience (including Landlord and Tenant work) with strong technical ability
  • Commitment to delivering high quality legal advice and service to clients - Disciplined and organised
  • Hard working and diligent
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Motivated, “can-do” attitude
  • Team player but also able to manage own case-load without supervision
  • Ability to work accurately and quickly under pressure
  • Ambitious and keen to get to the next level
